Hope your inner phoenix bursts forth, dandelion.
I think I identify, somewhat. So "with a handshake in thought", be well.

Thanks, if I can't find someone who can treat the condition I'll just resort to different drugs.

Man, whoever put this together read my mind! This could have been my theme song when things started to get ugly in December, just before they passed the point of redemption. And the song even has a "Fahrenheit" reference!

Magic! Think you've won a convert here, Dandelion. Did he perform all his own stunts?

That's great!

In both the Arbuckle and his own independent films, he did all on his own stunts and sometimes doubled for other people. After he went to MGM in 1928, they didn't want him doing really dangerous things so sometimes he had doubles for stunts involving cars, etc. After leaving MGM in 1932 or so, he sometimes had doubles but very rarely; it's almost all him. It is also all real--no special effects used.

Amazing! Even more amazing that in my entire 29 years (ahem!) I've not watched a single Buster Keaton movie. We don't seem to show many old B&W fillums on our channels.

Thanks fjp451. I'll dig out the popcorn and settle down to watch this afternoon, seeing as it's a typically damp and dismal Bank Holiday weekend.

That's about it.

In case I seem to protest too much, it would be great if I could just decide to be in a good mood and not be in a bad one, but it wasn't a conscious decision in either case, either when it started or when it ended. I resisted the good mood and fought the bad one, and it ended up how it did. At a loss here.

I'm more than halfway seriously considering seeing it. Do give us a report.
