At about two minutes into this discussion with Ted Koppel, Mr. Bradbury alludes to what mankind could achieve by applying our dreams, love, time, economic efforts, and cooperative schemes into space and technologies ~ which so many of his stories addressed. Such approaches would advance our place in time, on Planet Earth, and in reaching out to Mars and beyond. Our last visit to the lunar surface was in December of 1972!? Sad.

Mr. Bradbury's comments were always visionary. We need individuals in leadership roles and sitting in political offices that have such perspectives. The advancements would far outreach the decades of bantering and worldwide conflicts that have taken place over the past fifty years.
