LETTERS OF NOTE is a fascinating blog that reproduces interesting letters from famous people, and letters of historical interest. Look what turned up there recently:
Shocking that someone would stoop so low and mail this letter to this website. Probably for money.

Fascinating. I have never heard Ray refer to himself as a Christian and would also like to know how the letter came to leave Nard's possession. The date is not given but is obvious by the reference to SW about to be filmed. I would have said about what Anonymous did. Anyone here admit to being Anonymous?

The Letters of Note site includes a link to the auction site where this letter was sold, and the linked site contains other letters of a similar provenance. I can only hope any money raised has gone to help Nard.
At least the webmaster of Letters of Note kindly agreed to my request that Ray's address and phone number be blurred out.
The Heinlein letter to Forrest J. Ackerman was the only way I knew Ackerman had a brother. When we met him we asked about brothers and sisters and he talked as if he were an only child.

The "Letters of Note" website links in the rather ancient postings above are no longer available.
