This is sad. I loved the original Dallas and this is a big blow to the new one. Condolences to all involved.

"Take Five" and remember Dave Brubeck, Dec. 6, 1920. We almost wished him a "Happy Birthday!" Instead, God's Peace!

An amazing artist. I had the privilege to attend two of his performances and was moved and inspired both evenings: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Brubeck

Many of my favourite people passed on this year.
I got to see Brubeck at the 50th Monterey Jazz Festival - he and his group stole the show.

What's really weird is, I woke up this morning with "Take Five" on the brain, then heard the news an hour or so later!

A belated notice that artist David Grove passed away on October 25 of this year. Mr. Grove is perhaps most famous for his wonderful painting that was used on the poster promoting Disney's release of the film, SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES. Links to both that image and his obituary are below.

Another major one of which I am so sorry to hear. When I think of The Twilight Zone, "In Praise of Pip" always comes to mind.
