Alas. As a small aside, does anyone know which characters he gave voice to?

"Thunderbirds" was as huge an influence on my young self as "Tomorrow Midnight," the paperback collection of Ray's EC Comics adaptations.

You may know him from Boston Legal but many of us remember him from Laugh-In.

Color me bummed! Yet another favorite singer I've loved practically since infancy I'll never get to meet or see perform in person! The long (almost endless!) summer of death claims another irreplaceable victim! (There is an RB connection, as Peter, Paul and Mary appeared on the Jack Benny show.) RIP Mary!

I regret I only know Henry Gibson from Boston Legal, but I found him magnificent in that. A great face, great comic looks, superb timing.

That article about Poe's 'funeral' says there will be actors present, representing various historical and literary figures: "Writers and artists influenced by Poe, including Arthur Conan Doyle and Alfred Hitchcock, will also be represented."

I wonder if there will be anyone playing Ray Bradbury? (Anyone in Baltimore with an ice cream suit, white hair and a pair of thick glasses who could get along on Sunday?)

If not, there ought to be. After all, he was on the train: Epilogue: The R.B., G.K.C. and G.B.S. Orient Express

Vic! I didn't even have to look at your link. I've been enjoying Vic's themes to The Addams Family and Green Acres and the like for happy decades! Wonderful TV music.
