That's awful! Why was this not the top of the news? I know Philip Seymour Hoffman was more unexpected, but this is certainly more significant! Frowner

I guess I have a one-degree from Shirley Temple since I know someone who knew her, which gives me a two-degree to Amelia Earhart. It really is a small world.

NOT DEAD YET! REPORTS GREATLY EXAGGERATED!

http://hollywoodlife.com/2014/...eath-hoax-car-crash/

WAKE UP, INTERNET MOVIE DATABASE! They list a date and place of death when the man himself insists he's not dead! Don't they check facts before just putting things up? If someone else played this hoax, it was mean. If he was behind it, it's a sorry way to get attention. But, I liked him in Dirty Dancing, Jurassic Park, and Seinfeld, and am glad he is not dead. Be well, Wayne Knight!

They posted the article about the hoax 14 hours ago, but the death date was still up 11 hours ago! Gone now. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm000...=nm_nwr_3#ni56938767

The untimely passing of Lucius Shepard, an outstanding writer who, like our Ray, wrote some good novels, but was even better at short fiction.

A lovely tribute by Michael Swanwick:
