LinnlThe Original Star Trek is close to my heart, and I'm somewhat shocked Mr. Finnerman's passing hasn't been reported in the various Trek sites I frequent. He did fabulous, wonderful work.
Here is an interview with him from The Archive of American Television.

philnicWhat's remarkable is that Star Trek was Finnerman's first time as a director of photography. A remarkable piece of work for a first-timer. He certainly knew how to paint with light.
