Nard Kordell ~ gracious words from patrask: Nard has passed away as of this am. I am saddened for her sake and for all of his friends on this board who can no longer benefit from his sense of humor and knowledge about all things Bradbury. Ray changed Nard's life for the better, as he told many of us over the years, and allowed Nard to find a friend in Jesus and a new path for his life. He has gone where he knew he would and we should all feel no sorrow for him in his new place, which is, I believe, a far better one than the one he has left. We will honor his memory and cherish the days we had to know him. RIP NARD PEACE...Nard Kordell!!
Also, Mitch Miller, the sing-along man, who was 99!

Our culture sure has changed. Most american families don't even know the old tunes and would feel awkward sitting around and singing them with each other and those sweater-clad guys and Leslie Uggams!
