I saw The Ray Charles Show at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in 1960, and David "Fathead" Newman was introduced by Ray himself. What a night that was, with the Ray-letts tossing their fringes and the music rockin' the house. We were ahead of the curve on that one, too.
