She stood silently looking out into the great sallow distances of sea bottom, as if recalling something, her yellow eyes soft and moist...

Yes, shocking, Anna Nichole Smith's death, and minutes away from where I live in Sunrise. And an author couldn't write the many twists and turns of her life.
Five Days Later-2-13-2007 When I wrote the above I had no clue, no did anyone else, that the twists and turns of Nicole's life and death would be as they are. Paternity questions, the deal with the Minister of Immigration, etc., etc. This message has been edited. Last edited by: biplane1,

I saw "The King's" shows as a kid. He still had his team wheeling and dealing just a year ago. Like the old carnival shows, I think they played at least once in ever small town in America:

Tom Poston, one of the great comedians from those simpler days of real sitcoms. Good night, Tom! Thanks for all the wholesome laughs - God's gift shared for so many years.
One of my favorite actors of my childhood passed away on Monday, April 30: Gordon Scott. While Mr. Scott appeared in a number of Italian "sword and sandal" films and spaghetti westerns in the 1960's, he will be most remembered for his portrayal of Tarzan in a series of films from 1955 to 1960 including the Tarzan movie that I (and many other folks) think is the best Tarzan film ever made, TARZAN'S GREATEST ADVENTURE (1959), with Anthony Quayle and a young Sean Connery. Here is a link describing Mr. Scott's career:
