As most folks know, Ray Bradbury loved movies. In 1966, he spoke at a monthly dinner meeting of the American Society of Cinematographers, and used his speech, "Film in the Space Age," to proclaim his love of film and the work that cinematographers contributed to the medium. That speech ended up being printed in the January, 1967 issue of AMERICAN CINEMATOGRAPHER magazine. And Ray later, in 1972, allowed that speech of his to be re-printed in a somewhat obscure fanzine called OUT THERE in its third issue. The cover of the January, 1967 issue of AMERICAN CINEMATOGRAPHER can be viewed by clicking on the link below. And in the post immediately following this one, I will include a link to the cover of the OUT THERE fanzine.
