Braling, am laughing so hard right now, I can't hardly write. Frost wrote a short poem about having a bad day and how the color of the sunset redeemed it. Reading that salvaged my day! I'm not going into it for all your sake. I was puzzling over that, thinking...hmmm, now what movie was he in that had that in it, then I glanced up and re-read my post.

Hello, Mr. Dark. I'm glad to catch one of your posts and, as always, impressed by your knowledge and modesty. I only pass through on occasion and lurk far more than post so it's good to "hear" one of the "old" voices. Glad that you caught that Chapter 31. I am sure that that ad kept Carl afloat for many a year and, apparently, still is if the guy is hanging in there at 90+. He sure had a proboscis though!

Biplane, & all, dontcha love those old t.v. ads. Who wears short shorts, or Legs, how bout the gorilla trying to destroy the suitcase, or even better Elmira Gulch selling coffee, Sally the quicker picker upper(mothers little helper?), my all time favorite, The crying Indian with trash strewn at his feet(sad, but true). Talk about a wave of nostalgia, plane!
