In 1988, Ray did a interview on National Public Radio in connection with the publication of his collection, THE TOYNBEE CONVECTOR. Shortly after Ray's death, NPR made the interview available on its website. To listen to that 1988 interview, click on the link below:

Great to see this posted, Richard.

I still have my off-air recorded Fresh Air of this interview with Terry Gross on cassette tape from 1988. As Jack Palance might say "Believe it ... or not."

To this day, Terry Gross and the Fresh Air program is outstanding.

My post above in April, 2021 took you to a 10-minute 1988 interview of Ray Bradbury by Terry Gross, in her role as host of National Public Radio's program, FRESH AIR. I have since found what appears to be the full FRESH AIR interview of Ray by Ms. Gross in 1988, which lasts over 25 minutes! To listen to that longer interview, click on the link below:
