I was wondering if anyone new how many printings there were of the FIRST EDITION of Dandelion Wine. I'm asking for a First Edition for Christmas and I really like the cover of the First Edition. I know it was published by Double Day in 1957. I saw on one Rare Books site they had a First Edition but it said it was the first printing. I'd be fine with a First Edition thats a later printing with the same cover. Anyone know more about this?

This doesn't answer your question, but you might consider a facsimilie dust jacket in case you find a first edition. John Anthony Miller's Phantom Bookshop is one place.
