THE OUTER LIMITS COMPANION by David J. Schow mentions that Ray Bradbury as well as Arthur C. Clarke, and Charles Beaumont visited the production offices of the original OUTER LIMITS. I was wondering if anyone knew if our favorite author submitted a script or story that(although was never produced)later became a story or may be published at some point.

Regards, Robert

Schow's book is very thorough, and I feel confident that if Bradbury had submitted a script for the show, Schow would have mentioned it.

My own researches haven't turned up any evidence of RB being involved, and Jon Eller's article on Bradbury's media work in the first issue of The New Ray Bradbury Review doesn't mention it. So I'm fairly confident the answer is "no".

All three seasons for a great price! Don't know how long this'll last.

And on a completed semi-related note, this!

There were only TWO seasons of the original OUTER LIMITS, so why they have labelled this as "volumes 1 -3" is beyond me. I thought perhaps it was three DISCS, but the description says SEVEN discs. Very confusing!

If you are tempted to buy this set, you may be disappointed to find they contain no extras. However, you can make up for this with the SUPERB, EXCELLENT, and NEAR-PERFECT blog We Are Controlling Transmission, which reviews every episode, has in-depth articles and extensive reprintings from David Schow's book.

Same reason they did it with The Addams Family - it's only two seasons, so to make it seem like you're getting more for your money, they divide up the two seasons into three volumes. Perhaps they initially sold them in separate volumes of three and now have collected all three volumes together. I don't know.

Initally, they sold them as two volumes, then repackaged them and divided them into three. I bought the fisrt season in one package, then when I got ready to purchase the second season it was less expensive to purchase Vol.3 (2nd season complete). Found the artwork not great on either, so I customizied to my liking ( yes, I'm somewhat fanatical about OL, and anyone who isn't, well, there is somethin wrong with you Big Grin).
