Ray has a new short story in a just-released anthology called DARK DELICACIES, edited by Del Howison (who owns the Dark Delicacies book store in Burbank, California) and Jeff Gelb, and published by Carroll & Graf. The story is called "The Reincarnate". The publisher has posted a brief extract of Ray's story on the Internet. Here is a link:
Incidentally, Cemetery Dance Publishers is scheduled to release a signed, limited edition of this book later this fall (which will be a lot more expensive than the trade paperback, needless to say).
The website for the Burbank, CA book store, Dark Delicacies, whose owner is co-editor of this book, has posted some critical comments that the book and its contributors' stories have received. Ray's short story has been praised by several critics:
