Help Id what edition of martian choronicals!!

I purchased what i thought was a 1950 1st edtion martian chornicals.i purchased from what i i thought was a trust worthy site. There was no dust jacket butt looks like a 1958 cover . It was a library book and says 1950 1st edition on the inside ......the first few pages before this someone glued photo copies of of information about ray Bradb ury from the original dust jacket cover ..anyifthis is other wayp to tell

I'm no expert on specific editions of books, but since no one else has come forward with an answer, I thought I might as well chime in.

THE MARTIAN CHRONICLES was indeed first published in 1950, by Doubleday. If your copy says "1st edition" and "Doubleday" and was published in the US, then I would think it is a genuine first edition.

I'm not sure what you meant when you said it had no dust jacket, but it looks like a 1958 cover. Here's what a first edition dust jacket looks like:
