I can't remember whether this has been posted here before, or whether I saw it elsewhere. Apologies if it's all too familiar...

You can find out which science fiction writer you are by taking this test:

Apparently I'm Hal Clement! I'm not too unhappy about that.

Caution: the quiz contains some "adult themes". You have been warned.

I'm also Hal Clement. I've always wanted to read his famous 1953 novel MISSION OF GRAVITY. His other famous novel NEEDLE (aka FROM OUTER SPACE) is a really cool story about a fugitive alien seeking refuge on Earth, and in the bodies of earthlings, while being hunted down by another alien bounty hunter type dude who also requires a host body. Is that cool, or what? It's very suspenseful too--all that body-hopping. The title refers to the proverbial "needle in a haystack".

Olaf Stapledon? I never heard of him, actually, I'll have to look him up.

Hmmm...Isaac Asimov for me. That was a surprise.

Thought I'd add that Joe Mugnaini did the jacket artwork for the first printing of MISSION OF GRAVITY. Smiler

Re-engaging lurker mode...

I never knew that Spillane used SF elements. The things you learn on this board!
