I am doing a survey about the nationalities of the members of this board and I need to know if they read B's works first in English or translated!
I will start: I am Portuguese and the first story I read from B was in English.
Let me know about you!

Thanks

Blue Bottle

Thank you dandelion, I had already been there but some of the members there who don't speak english as their mother language don't refer if their first contact with B was through the original texts or through translations, that is why I am asking. Because I would like to know if B's art is not lost in translation!

Funnily enough, Phil, so did I. But have you tried reading him in Gaelic or, even worse, Erse?

Apart from verse, there's nothing worse than a terse Erse curse!

(Sorry- really tired right now...)
