Hi all,
I have chosen Ray's short story "the enemy in the wheat" (published in "One more for the road")for an assessment on the theme of belonging. I thought the irony of this "enemy" which actually serves to bring this man closer to his neighbours (and hence finds a sense of belonging)would work. I'm just looking for anyone's opinion on this and help with identifying techniques to support my idea.
