Ray Bradbury's Preposterously Productive 1946
ChiCon 8, the 80th World Science Fiction Convention, was held in Chicago, Illinois over the Labor Day weekend. First Fandom Experience, publisher of the fine book, THE EARLIEST BRADBURY, organized a number of panels and presentations relating to science fiction history and fandom. One was called "Ray Bradbury's Preposterously Productive 1946", and was devoted to Ray's remarkable output during the year he turned 26. His work that year truly was amazing. On its website, First Fandom Experience has created an article relating to that topic, which can be accessed by clicking on the link below. (And make sure you scroll down to the 1948 photo of Edmond Hamilton and his wife Leigh Brackett, Ed Hamilton's sister, and Ray at the "Tiajuana Bar"!)
