I was reading this stuff in fourth grade and it seemed cut and dry. I'm lazy too, but I still have the superhuman strength to turn a page!

I know. In cases where English was not the poster's first language (which, in the case of this poster, I honestly couldn't tell) I can understand a certain lack of comprehension. It's people who have lived 10, 15, 20 years with English as their main language, then reading these stories and saying they don't understand them that I find frightening. This really gets to me!
