I discovered this a few weeks ago (I think someone posted a link) and printed off a copy and read it to Mr B as part of my regular readings to him. He was so excited to hear it, and laughed at several parts of the essay, nodding his head and saying, "yes - I remember!"

It took SIXTY years but in this week's upcoming edition of The New Yorker Magazine Ray finally appears!!! About GD time!!!

It's not his first appearance. "I See You Never" first appeared in THE NEW YORKER in 1947. But that was 65 years ago!
