Here is something else Thomas Steinbeck said to Ray and I hope I phrase this right. John Steinbeck, John W. Campbell and Henry Miller got together and decided that three of the best sentences every in print is contained in the Martian Chronicles. Thomas was told that he if could find them each would give him $100. All three passed away before Thomas could find them and to this day he does not know which three they are.

Now it is your turn, what do you think these three literary giants had in mind?

Don't know about all three, nor do I know which three this particular group meant, but one of the sentences is this:

"Nothing happened."

I wasn't sure where this news should go, but this ancient thread seemed like as good a place as any. A John Steinbeck unpublished werewolf mystery novel (!!!) called MURDER AT FULL MOON has been unearthed in an archive maintained at the University of Texas at Austin. The novel was written by Steinbeck in around 1930 under the pen name "Peter Pym", and was rejected by publishers of the day. Steinbeck's estate has thus far rejected requests that it allow the book to now be published. Gee, I can't understand why! ( ) For more information, click on the link below:
