The nice thing about being with the same employer for 36 years is that instead of asking for the day off to attend this event I just have to tell them I'll be taking off to attend this event. Smiler

Well, jkt, I tried. Just spent about ten minutes uploading a nice photo album with well thought-out comments using the famous raybradbury.com photo uploader only to have NOTHING APPEAR. As usual. I remember having trouble with this miserable photo uploader in the past, which probably explains why I haven't used it in a long time. Oh, well - I guess you had to be there.

You use a Mac, don't you, Doug? I wonder if that's where the problem lies. (Not blaming you or the Mac, but the message board infrastructure which is Mac-intolerant!)

Fortunately, there are photos elsewhere, such as those accompanying a certain Mr John King Tarpinian's report on the event:

There's a one-hour video of the Ellison/Johnson presentation on Youtube, too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMJmsaEtWEI... and another video on the official Harlan Ellison Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?...bedded&v=QD5zfBTy16k

Plus my friend Steve Barber has posted some photos from the event on his Friends of Ellison gallery: http://mysite.verizon.net/res7n0zi/id45.html

Watch!

At 11:10 Harlan tells a hilarious story about his hatred of sharpies and Ray's love for them. "A marker the size of Lithuania!"
