Mike LangfordPowerfully crreeepy images! Six Flags has the makings of a new kind of theme park. Imagine if they cleaned this up only enough to make it safe for guests, even accentuated the rundown appearance, and then re-opened it as the Six Flags Haunted Cajun Carnival. (That's probably an example of an idea the public would go wild over but the business types making the decisions would never understand or allow.)
I am also reminded of how much the film
Carnival of Souls has a Bradbury flavor. This still you've posted above looks like it could have been taken straight out of
Carnival of Souls. 09 July 2012, 12:49 PM

dandelionQuite possibly Ray's thoughts when he first bought his kids a TV. BTW, that isn't one of his kids in the picture, is it?

fanboythanks for the sugar skull recipe, dandelion, I just may try it this halloween. They had some at a Dia de Los Muertos celebration I went to a couple of years ago, but they seemed more like for an altar than for eating, so I didn't get one.
I love the sugar skulls in the Halloween Tree animated cartoon. They make such a nice crunch when the kids bite into them.
